Presenting directly to students

Mark is an experienced teacher

Mark combines the need to be informative with the need to be entertaining and engaging. He has a no-nonsense down-to-earth approach which students like and he leaves them with strategies and skills that they can immediately use. He has particular experience in the design and delivery of:

social skills programs, interpersonal communication skills programs;

alcohol education programs for teenagers; and

experiential learning techniques and is the creator of Real Life Rehearsals® and Agent Provocateur role-plays®.

Mark can help teenagers handle alcohol

In addition to Mark’s 6 principles, Mark is particularly skilled in helping teenagers lean how to:

How to go to a party, have a good time but refuse to drink more than you want to — which in many cases will need to be zero — and still look ‘cool’;

How to avoid binge drinking — how to avoid getting into a ‘shout’ and other group drinking situations.

How to refuse a lift with a drunk driver — or anyone they don’t want to go with — despite their high-spirited friends egging them on to ‘come along’ and have some fun;

Mark can help teenagers say ‘no’ to sexual harassment, …

In addition to helping teenagers handle the real world of alcohol, Mark is also skilled in helping teenagers lean how to:

Say ‘no’ sexual harassment or to inappropriate questions and comments — anywhere, anytime;

Speak up and make their case; and

Do their best at a job interview — even with a poor interviewer.

Perhaps you’d like something else.  Ask Mark how he can help.

Mark can help teenagers be great communicators

Mark has created a range of additional ‘communication skills’ programs specifically for students. Mark has presented to students from upper Primary to senior Secondary. Whether it be general communication skills (such as building rapport, the art of active listening, showing empathy or using meaningful gestures), how to be diplomatically and appropriately assertive, how to develop and deliver a speech, or something else, Mark can design and deliver a presentation to suit specific needs.
